Many employers engage the help of agencies such as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.therelocationcompany.nl\/\">The Relocation Company<\/a>\u201d, to make sure everything goes smoothly. The migrant will nonetheless have to help out with certain things. A number of documents must be submitted and \u2013 also of importance \u2013 a number of matters will require a &#8216;sworn&#8217; translation. We often assist in this process,\u00a0so we thought it would be useful to offer a list of documents that migrants will have to submit, which may require a sworn translation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-323041d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"323041d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What is a sworn translation?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-134f1324 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"134f1324\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>When you are dealing with official agencies, you will need a sworn translation of your documents. Such certification ensures that the translation of your document is legally valid. A sworn translator must be registered with the Dutch Register of Sworn Interpreters and Translators (RBTV) and has taken an oath before a Dutch court. Antecedents Declaration <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1531\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"1\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1531\"><p>To obtain a residence permit, you will need an Antecedents Declaration for all your family members. Marriage Certificate \/ Registered Partnership Deed <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-1532\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"region\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1532\"><p>If your partner is accompanying you, you will need a sworn translation of your Marriage Certificate or, if applicable, the Registered Partnership Deed. If there is no situation involving marriage or registered partnership, then a relationship declaration can be sufficient, provided it is supplemented with a legalised declaration of unmarried status from your country of origin for the main applicant and his or her accompanying partner. After working for one year in their EU country of residence, blue card holders will find it easier to travel within the EU \u2013 and their families are permitted to join them.<\/p><p>Supplementary documents are needed when applying for a blue card. Most documents will be issued in English or Dutch and will be suitable. These include an employer\u2019s statement, an employment contract or copies of travel documents. But for the blue card, you will also need a copy of your diploma and the original diploma evaluation from Nuffic. Nuffic often requires a sworn translation of your diploma for the diploma
